November: 2 Peter
In November, we will be studying the book of 2 Peter together as a group at each gathering. There is no homework.Handouts and study materials will be provided at each gathering.

Evenings: 6 pm – 7:30 pmBring: Your Bible and a desire to know God moreWhether you are just starting to read the Bible or are deeply rooted in Scripture, there is a place for you at the table.Both morning and evening study will be the same, so if you miss the morning one, you can come to the evening one, and vice versa.
Nov 4th: 2 Peter Chapter 1 - Knowledge of Jesus & Christian Growth. “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1:3 NLT. This week we will study the importance of knowing God’s Word, how we are to grow in Christ, and will be reminded of what the foundational truths of our Faith are.Nov 11th: 2 Peter Chapter 2 - False Teachers: their condemnation, character, and claims. “Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.” 2 Peter 2:2 NLT. This week we will study what a false teacher is, Peter’s warning to believers, and how to have discernment.Nov 18th: 2 Peter Chapter 3 - The Lord will return; be diligent, aware, and grow in grace. “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” 2 Peter 3:9 NLT. This week we will finish our study in 2 Peter, being reminded of the Lord’s return, how we should live holy lives in grace, and that God’s Word is the sustainer of all things.Nov. 25th - No study the week of Thanksgiving
